Having grown up in a musical family Zeke learned early on that all genres are valid and require hard work and dedication from their musicians.  He feels that this is the most important lesson that he can teach his students.

Often humorously likened to an inflatable tube man onstage because of her enthusiasm, passion, and physicality, all Eva Ding ever wants to do is imbue in her audience the same sense of joy and richness the performing arts brings to her. She is passionate about creating interactive, interdisciplinary works that meld together her love for music and theater. To that end, Eva is one of five artist residents who has been invited to produce and perform an original work of interdisciplinary performance art as part of The Center at West Park’s performance series in November of 2021.

Eva has a varied knowledge of not only classical flute playing but also musicianship, artistry, contemporary/21st-century classical and crossover music, and ensemble playing – having recently received the Ensemble Forward from Chamber Music America – and she hopes to impart those skills onto others.

Eva is Shanghai-born, Auckland-raised and New York-based, having completed a Master of Music under the tutelage of Robert Langevin at the Manhattan School of Music.
